I'm sure this has been frustrating for many of us; The shifter and console plates on my 96 are finished with some sort of rubber-like coating (almost like tool dip!). My 96 LT4 shuts off at 150-160 degrees temp ( no spark, just cranks). After cooling completely, it will start and idle fine until 150-160 degrees and then shuts down again. Fuel pressure is fine, it seems that all electrical shuts down. Any ideas out there?
